A standout in contemporary music, Janson seamlessly blends the depth of great jazz with the elegance of classical music. Growing up in Massachusetts, Peter was immersed in music from an early age. His father, an accomplished amateur guitarist, played solo guitar daily, sparking Peter's lifelong love of the instrument. He received his first guitar at age seven and began performing at age 15. Over the past 25 years, he has performed across North America, including prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and the Montreal Jazz Festival.

Peter’s music has reached a global audience, featured in video games, commercials, and documentaries. His recordings have charted on Billboard’s Top 10 as a session guitarist, and he has amassed a dedicated fanbase in over 137 countries. His latest album, Getting To Here (2022), is currently in rotation on 75+ radio stations worldwide and available on major streaming platforms. In October 2022, Peter signed worldwide sub-publishing deals with STOMP Music (Korea) and SUPREME SONGS Limited (UK).
